Here's the thing @Dean. The talking point is that he's willing to restructure his contract towards a more team friendly one.
While it's true that his cap hit this year and possibly next can be minimized, the team will still be paying him beyond that time in order to get those cap friendly numbers. Keep in mind that Kerrigan will be a 32 year old player this season (August 16th) coming off injury.
I want the 11mil saved. IF he can fetch a draft pick then do it or just release him. With the drafting of Young it makes him expandable. Allen can be the rotation DE or DT.
Funny thing is people on here would say no to a 2nd round pick for RK. that's just nuts.
