The writer used an awful lot of words to conclude that the "underperforming Ravens" will perform better this year?
Interesting logic. I don't buy it.
I think the "underperforming Ravens" still have a terrible secondary......

Gettin' nervous ain't you, Southie ?? I see the fear in your eyes !!!

Nobody cares about the Ravens.

You might get some talk on your board...

I wonder whether Baltimore's offense takes a step back after losing Kubiak as it's OC. The game at Denver in Week 1 might be somewhat informative.

Might be somewhat informative to see if Denvers OL can keep Baltimores front 7 off of Peyton as well.

Ya know?

No doubt. We might start three -- maybe even four -- offensive lineman who have never started an NFL game.

I can see the Ravens winning the division. Only have to beat out 3 teams to do it, so it's not like it's some outlandish feat. The team that poses the stiffest competition has a terrible defense (at least it did last year) and a suspended RB in the early going.

Manning is the least sacked QB EVER.

He definitely gets the ball out quickly. Should be interesting to see how effective he is in the new ZB/WCO that Kubiak runs. While it's quite different from the offenses he's run throughout his career, and seemingly not an ideal fir for his skill set, all reports that I've read so far in training camp indicate that he's taking well to the new scheme.

Of course he is. He has a PhD in reading playbooks and reading defenses. He'll do just fine and so will CJ Anderson/Monte Ball

I'm optimistic. Your remark about RBs is also consistent with my expectation that Denver will feature a formidable rushing attack. Kubiak has a pretty strong history of that.

Gonna be a great test for both test for both teams... I think Baltimore will be better against the run this year with Jernigan and Williams who both plying. Add Carl Davis who while is a rookie has been killing it at TC and Arrington from the Patriots is working out real well with the Ravens schemes arms he is a better fit for us plus he is from Maryland.
No doubt. We might start three -- maybe even four -- offensive lineman who have never started an NFL game.
