Green Bay entered the week as the top seed while Philly entered the week as the 3rd seed.

Green Bay will go into week 16 as the 2nd WC team while Philly will go enter week 16 out of the playoffs

The only two teams that can win out and hold HFA without needing any help both are NFCW teams. Presuming either the Lions or GB win out anyway which is highly likely.

Yep I believe thats correct. Philly really needs Indy to beat Dallas next week because I dont see Dallas losing in Washington.

Before Philly and Dallas played, there were 6 teams who all could have been the #1 overall seed. And only 5 of those were going to make the playoffs. I don't think Philly can be the #1 seed anymore, not sure if they can even be #2, but still definitely in the mix as division champions.

I believe somebody said if every single other game went right, the Lions and Packers could play week 17 with the winner getting the #1 seed and the loser missing out on the playoffs completely.

11-5 out and 5-11 in. :L

It's impossible for a 5 win team to win the South. Falcons play both the Saints and Panthers in the final 2 weeks and all of those teams are currently at 5 wins.

Impossible is a strong word considering ties exist. It is impossible for a 5-11 team to make it though.

It's hilarious not only that a 5 win team is leading the division with 3 Games left, but even funnier that Tampa has been eliminated already.

Good point. I didn't research the facts.

Green Bay at least still completely controls their own destiny to get that bye back

Philly is in bad shape now because of losses to Arizona, Seattle and Green Bay. If they don't end up tied with Dallas, they will be out of the playoffs.

Lions looking good heading to Chi to play the Teddy Bears next week. Green Bay looks completely beatable even at Lambeau. Looking forward to a great finish in the NFC!

Seahawks control their own destiny to reach the #1 seed unless BOTH GB and the Lions lose one of their last two games and Dallas wins out. They win all 3 way ties possible.

Two games left and 5 teams all with viable paths to HFA throughout.

A lot of very interesting games over that span coming up.

Yes, but you can say the exact same thing about Arizona. Plus they currently have a one game lead on everyone else!

I am not a Cards fan but I am getting really sick of everyone writing these guys off. No matter who gets injured they just seem to keep on winning.

The Seahawks and the Cards next week is a HUGE game.

It's only hilarious when you consider if the Saints lose tonight the Panther's tie puts Carolina in first place.
