I don't have a problem with it. He was just being honest. He feels like the team beat them up in the second half and took the will to play out of them. That is a big compliment to our team if you ask me.

Gore has said this same thing about the Seahawks, Jets, Rams, Broncos and even his owen teammates in the past as well. Maybe it's just me, and I would tell him no disrespect if I was in front of him, but I have a harder time buying into that idea coming from him than I would if a number of other guys on the team said it. That is just me, though.

IDK but very un-Gore like ..... really haven't heard him say things like this before... but who knows, maybe trying to downplay the comeback?

I believe he also made similar statements about the seahawks a few years ago.

In general, I'm not a fan of smack talk. I'm really not a fan when we haven't really accomplished anything yet. Philly will file that nugget away and it will be bulletin board material the next time we meet.

When I heard about the comments I was not very happy in a general sense. In terms of Gore, shout you're mouth and get a couple of winning seasons and playoff appearances before you go bad mouthing another team when you've been on a sub .500 team the past few seasons

I saw an interview yesterday where the report who was interviewing Gore said that he specifically asked Gore that question becuase he, the report, felt like the eagles gave up. Sounds to me like Gore was set up by the reporter.

I don't believe any player is ever "set-up" per say. Gore simply could have avoided the question all together or strictly kept his comments to how well the Niners played during the stretch of the comeback. No need to run your mouth or appear to be running your mouth when your organization hasn't been to the playoffs since the early 2000's let alone produced a winning season
