As for Welker - it's not that anything is overturned, just recategorized from "performance enhancing" to "substances of abuse" because it was the off-season. But yeah, he'd be eligible to play.

From PFT the terms will include:

I think Gordon's positive test was in May.

So theoretically he could play Sunday.

(Also per PFT they're only raising the limit to 35 ng/ml - so there's still room to be eligible to fly a jumbo passenger jet or an F-16, but not be allowed to play in the NFL.)

I thought Gordon's test was in Feb and that's why his situation is "trickey"...............

Actually it looks like Gordon's test was before May, and he got a letter about it in April. So the test might have been in March or even earlier.... Still looking.

Still don't get it. .. draw a line, if it happened before it doesn't apply, if it happened after it applies. This kinda sorta bullsnort is just stupid, and just another black eye for Goodell's NFL. And after this last few days, they already look like Balboa after the first Creed fight.

CLE doesn't really have any other WRs... I have a hard time seeing Gordon as anything less than an every week starter in fantasy

But you look at their strengths, and I have a hard time ranking Gordon up there with other WR offensively-challenged teams like the Jets, Bills, and Raiders.

I must admit that Gordon has much more upside. But a good WR still benefits from a QB and a system.

RE: Gordon's 10 games: In redraft leagues, so someone's going to let Gordon sit on their short fantasy bench for most all of the season and then plug him in during the critical pre-playoff and playoff weeks 12-17? Risky.

Rotoworld: FOX 26 Houston reports Adrian Peterson has been indicted for reckless or negligent injury to a child in North Montgomery County (TX). The arrest stems from "the disciplining of a son with a switch," according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The investigation has been ongoing, and Peterson testified for a grand jury weeks ago. Peterson missed practice on Thursday, but the Vikings reported it as a "veteran's day." The Vikings are "currently deciding on Peterson's status for Week 2." Sep 12 - 4:51 PM

I wonder how fast Matt Asiata & Jerick McKinnon will come off the boards.

RE: Peterson: Wow!

Well in both leagues I have Gordon in I have 8 benchspots in each league so I have the room...........but if I had him in our league I would hold him as long as I could but I doubt I'd be able to keep him that long.

Meh. This isn't going to have the kind of universal response the Rice tape got. These laws are really different state-to-state. The case will probably go slow. Might be the moment to buy AP cheap; doubt he misses any time.

Okay - I was wrong. Four years old and he zapped him from his ankles to his back, ball sack included. Not meh.

I'm glad I don't do FF for money. It's frustrating enough doing it for free. It was bad enough dealing with injuries and depth charts. Murder. Drugs. Abuse. I'm almost ready to abandon FF altogether.
