sure brings into question alot about how the NHL is conducted and how some calls over years cost Stanley Cups (re: Calgary in game 6 against TB and Dallas in OT against Buffalo)

makes me wonder just how much is manipulated by the NHL now after that. Wow how discouraging.

I know that when Dean Warren was in the midst of his LRB hearing re his supposed wrongful dismissal, Kerry Fraser came out and said he was a good ref who was fired because of his heavy union involvement and it was noted that Kerry Fraser hadnt worked the playoffs for a couple of years (i havent read Fraser's book but I dont think he said anything controversial in it)

about NHL manipulation, Ill put my tin foil hat on and say that Im surprised that nothing ever came out about NHL "game management" (ie refs are flat out told by the league to keep teams in games by calling penalties on teams that lead games by 2 or 3 goals)
