When I first heard the name Commanders I instantly thought of George Washington, General Lee etc. When you look up commander on Wiki it takes you to list of generals, both Civil War or in other countries. After reading my post I see now why you reacted I didn't realize my comment followed a shot at conservatives so I understand now. But let's not forget for a second that I haven't been reading liberals and "woke" being constantly bashed by people who wanted the name retained, the conservatives. Well there is also the Pentagon and several military bases that is the workplace for countless military commanders. So there is a Washington tie. I'm just saying that associating the name with the specific commanders who attacked Native Americans is utter nonsense. It's an agenda looking for an excuse to dismiss a name that is not Redskins.

I agree on your first point, and believe they did "ramrod" though the naming of the team as very few internally had an agenda.
