If Josh does change the name it could well increase merchandise sales. Who is going to want a 5 jersey with Commanders on it? Fans will want the new jersey. There are some haard heads like us on this forum who refuse to buy it but give the team a better name and and something like our old jerseys and that merch will see.

Yes the white numbers are better than the gold. I agree. The gold pants make the uniform with the gold numbers.

Watching the Chief's game last night, I was disgusted. Disgusted because the whole stadium was doing the Tomahawk chant and chop. I didn't see or hear any woke remarks about why this is allowed.
It would make me happy if we went with Washington Warriors and put Chief John Two Guns White Calf back on the helmets.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Commanders is going anywhere. Jayden has the #1 selling jersey in the league. That means the #1 selling jersey in the league is a Commanders jersey.

It's not going back to Redskins, so the old heads like us still don't get what we really want. Kids today associate Redskins with losing football.

I think it's going to be a situation like the Wizards. The Wizards dropped the teal and black and went back to the striped red, white, and blue with Washington across the chest.

I could see us keeping Commanders and these helmets and going back to the Superbowl uniforms eventually, but my gut tells me Commanders is here to stay, especially if they keep winning.

Sure Harris could make money off of a rebrand. If he feels the ROI is worth the 20m.....yeah. With Commanders gear currently doing well and having the number one selling football jersey in the country, I'm not sure it's on his "to do" list. I hope I'm wrong.

I think Josh and his partners have made millions already. If tis team goes 6-6 the rest of the way they finish 10-7. If they have good luck and can stay fairly healthy 11 or 12 wins are possible. At the same time Harris has. already spent millions on the stadium and in Ashburn. This guy knows how to make millions. Look at all the advertising he is selling. Even his Facebook images and videos have Commercials at the end. Snyder never tapped into that revenue. Hell he has Metallica coming in May, that is no small get.
