This is the uniform I would love.

Going back to Braves would be find and I would not mind Warriors.

Hogs were an all time line, not a good team name.

You know I've been all about the uniforms more than the name, but the throwbacks with Braves has direct ties to who we've been. Commanders and these cranberry and black uniforms just feels like an expansion team.

Washington Warriors flows better. I'd love that, but Braves just feels right.

Seeing skinsdad post pictures of the logo blocked out, I've come to accept that Redskins and the 80s uniforms, or at least that logo are gone forever.

The Braves are a top 3 MLB team and highly successful. The pushback against the name seems to have diminished.

The chiefs are going to their 4th SB in 5 years. Their qb is the most popular NFL player and their TE is dating the popular singer in the world. The pushback against the name has diminished.

The Braves is fair game end of discussion. If not, I want to tear it all down. I am sick of selective outrage. If the Braves are offensive only in the nfl, I want the utes, Blackhawks, chiefs, Braves, and Seminoles gone period.

I support HBCUs and believe there is no ill intent in an HBCU mascot. If alcorn st can have the Braves as a mascot, there is no reason why Washington could not. A prestigious HBCU school would not have a mascot that racist, offensive, or abusive to another group or minority.

I agree, and even though I think that as a team name, it sucks, Braves is fair game! It is synonymous with being a Warrior.
Btw: Chiefs are leaders of tribes, and all of the other names mentioned are actual tribal names.
