Harris strikes me as a guy that wants to really win over the fanbase. Bought hundreds of beers on day one.

He knows the fans are broken and it's his job to heal them.

I'm 99% sure we are getting a new name. I definitely think Redskins is in play and they will make an honest behind the scenes effort to get there.

In the event they come up short, I think they will try to find something that allows them to bring the old logo back (Warriors, Braves, WFT with the logo).

All that fails, I think they turn to Redwolves. It's the one name besides Redskins that has or had any kind of momentum.

I agree it's a long shot, but you can still get Redskins jerseys on fanatics. If they did get Redskins across the finish line it would have to be approved by the NFL which means NFL.com would be in play.

The name change was a strong arm move by the minority owners to get Dan to sell. Probably right though

I cannot support the Commies name. I actively rooted against them last year. The Redskins name is the "Only" reason I became a fan as a kid over 50 yrs ago. Although, the owner change has lightened me up a bit. I am not from the east coast, so I couldn't care less about some random explanation team from Washington DC. For me it's Redskins or Warriors, maybe Warthogs, anything less is very hard to get behind.

He knows the fans don't like the Commanders name and maybe even wants it gone since Dan picked it. It will be interesting what he decides. I think he would like Redskins back like most of us long time friends.

I'd love to see the Redskin name reinstated. I think if there is a way to pull it off with intelligence Josh Harris can do it but there will always be detractors. I would be okay with Warriors, Braves or something related to IPs that they are okay with too.

been a redskins fan since the george allen days,while i would give anything to have redskins back i think it,s unlikely.i will go with anything other than commanders which has snyder all over it,anything with that prick has to go.
