I have read some articles that there have been some productive CBA discussions behind the scenes which makes me hopeful that there will not be a work stoppage and that the two sides can hammer out a new CBA.

I have read some articles that there have been some productive CBA discussions behind the scenes which makes me hopeful that there will not be a work stoppage and that the two sides can hammer out a new CBA.

Prior to negotiating the current CBA Saskins spent a year and a half telling the players to save every penny they could because he knew it could get ugly. There doesn't seem to be anything like that going on this time around which is a good sign.
