didn't have any luck with the crappie but it is always nice to get out on the water. Guess that means I'll have to try again this weekend.

I swear the weird ass temps have somethin to do with the fish not bitin'..........

Here in Nebraska we normally have 15 inches of ice right now to fish on..........but instead the water is wide open...........and the fish will not bite

I agree. This freakishly warm weather has the fish screwed up, I think. The bite has been inconsistent at best. I can usually figure them out given a few hours if it's tough, but they are completely shut down. I can't make heads or tails of it.

I'm hoping to hit the water this Sunday. Forecast has the temps dropping lower every day so not sure how it will go. I was hoping the water would be around 40 but the highs are forecasted to be in the upper 40s and lows in the 30s and 20s some. Not looking good

Bass fishing some farm ponds. Forecast is now for cloudy and 42 on Sunday when I was planning to go. Next week looks a lot better.

I've caught bass in better numbers and some of my biggest bass in nasty weather. I don't know what it is, but they seem to turn-on when the weather is bad. Throwing a jig? shad rap? crankbait?

Looks like y'all had to gaf him. I haven't been far enough North to catch one of those yet. Well, that's not true. I went to Madison, WI once but there wasn't anytime to fish.

Nah, she was all beat up from spawning, did net her though. That woulda been the northern of a lifetime in Wisconsin, I cheated and went to Canada.
