Look, I love to bash Lebron this year more than anyone. But jesus, you do see the stats that he's putting up? If Lebron weren't on the Cavs, they might be a lottery team. I think he played 46 or 47 minutes tonight, and outside of Dellavadova, it's basically him.
Its not a bash. I gave LBJ lots of props but u can't see he struggles late in games I can't help u. U can't see Della made plays down the stretch to win that game I can't help you. It takes nothing away from LBJ. I am just giving credit to Della for saving another game. Just because I think he is the MVP of this game doesn't take away anything LBJ did. I don't ilke how he is shooting but I like that he hit a big 3 and played very good D this game. LBJ is the Cavs but a game like this where he gets help is what the cavs want. It gives them a great chance to win. If anything this is mad props to Cleveland as a whole.

lol

could you even imagine replacing lebron with ANY player in the league with Love, Kyrie nad Varejao out----- Michael Beasley has a better chance passing a random drug test than any team would have of winning the Finals!

unreal.

so.....again as I said what I believe was just about a month ago...I think LeBron just might have his best basketball yet to play.

Playing a 67 win, heavily favored, fully healthy, home court advantage wielding, Golden State team that lost 3 home games all season.

LeBron's 3 games

Game 1 - 44 pts, 8 rebounds 6 assists

Game 2- 39 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists

Game 3- 40 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks

LOL.....hmmm......

oh yah...totally - LeBron DEFININTELY has his best days behind him....lol....I think some big piles of crow need to be eaten.

Another great game. Nerve-racking but a win is a win.

I love the pace, they just got winded late. You could see the whole team.

I think they need to make Game 4 a must win. Cant let GS back in this and tie it up.

Also, GS switching and putting Lee in confused the Cavs plus ot brought in a fresh guy when every guy was tired. Cleveland needs to still make adjustments and just play their game they did in the first 3 quarters.

GREAT GAME!!!

Yes stat wise he is having a nice series. shooting % isn't great but overall as a cavs fan u should be happy. If he can work on taking over games late we have ourself one of the greatest. Thats all thats missing and a couple championships.

Yeah, they were getting winded late. Had just enough in the tank. Well now they got 2 days.

I think Game 4 is a must win if they want to take this thing and put all the pressure on GS. They need to play like it is a Game 7 Thursday
No doubt. I think the series hinges on game 4 unfortunately. If Golden State wins- and they go back to Golden State 2-2 for a game 5 with golden state owning momentum I think it would be extermely hard for hte Cavs to win-

If hte Cavs can SOMEHOW pull out a win on thursday by continuing this suffocating defense and all out effort- then I think that the series is there (yah I know thats pretty much common sense). They really pretty much NEED that game 4 win though. -in my opinion anyway- I just dont like 2-2 going to Golden State without any momentum

and seriously- the longer this series goes the worse it is for the Cavs- shit- Shumpert got hurt tonight- thank goodness he could come back in

Golden State can just sub guys in and out and make adjustments like David Lee this game or Speights in game 1....the CavS?? lol, 7 minutes of Mike Miller baby!!!!!! thats the total amount of depth Blatt has when he goes to make adjustments, lol....maybe a marion sighting? unreal...

="wildturkey, post: 6743603, member: 2043"]Looked to me like the bulk of Curry's woes were mental. The Dubs got down 20 and he basically said "Fuck it. We're gonna lose. Ima just play". Once he stopped forcing it, he looked like the old Steph and ripped off a bunch of shots. Whatever it is, he needs to play with that same attitude from tip in game 4. He forced things too much till that point.

I like GS going with Lee. I'd probably consider starting him next game or at least playing him 20+ mins. His lack of defense won't kill you with what the Cavs do and GS desperately needs his offense. Green and Barnes are choking dogs right now. Hell, Green is bordering on unplayable. He's happier arguing calls than guarding anyone. And how many failed attempts is it gonna take before he realizes he can't dunk over Mozgov? Lee needs to play more. Barnes or Green need to sit. I'd sit Green. At least Barnes can maybe get out of his shooting funk and stretch the floor.

Lebron is fucking great.

Only took him 11 quarters, I guess.

As long as Shump is not injured and is able to play from here on out, Curry isn't gonna be hitting. They are all over him and it seems like GS doesn't know how to handle that.

He came back in and Curry was still playing well. Plus, Delly has been the primary defender all series. Curry just started being aggressive and stopped overthinking, and his shots fell. Nothing about the Cavs D changed.

Lee kicked our ass in the regular season too- its obvious the Cavs are just going all out to protect hte perimeter and any offensive big that can finish can have a huge impact for Golden State since they are WIDE open to the rim except for the help defender.

that was a nice adjustment by Kerr.....Blatts adjustment was looking at his bench and realizing that Love and Irving were actually ACTIVE on the roster to make a full roster, LOL.

Which ones?
seriously. I have not seen one Cavs fan even suggest its CLOSE to over. Shit- the Cavs start tripping over their dick towards the end of games since everyone is gassed from playing nearly the entire game. The Cavs were down to a 7 man rotation BEFORE Shumpert hurt himself, lol.

As you go through any series that has been as tough as this one...

and seriously---- this Finals has been AMAZING thus far. 3 games that were absolute nail biters and involved Curry and Bron- and underdog heroes like Delly

I have realized that I kinda hate draymond green- what a whiner. Honestly- I really do not mind any of their other players that much except him.

man- that one dive by delly late in the game where Lee jumped on him and was ripping his arm away from the ball was ridiculous. I actually saw people on here saying that was a jump ball! LOL....Delly laid out for that ball.

Seriously- who has seen something like this? Undrafted, 2nd year player, St Marys college, Australian- the Cavs were trying to acquire a point guard all the way up to the waiver deadline- even told Steve Nash hed have a spot if he could give them 12 minutes a game. Nothing worked out- so they rolled with Delly- and honestly- that could have been the best non-move they made.

I cannot believe this kid is doing what he is doing. Doesnt he know that its not supposed to work this way? That he is not supposed to be able to rattle and get in the head of the league mvp- that its lottery-odds for him to play like he has- and hit shots like that ridiculous bank-and-one where Curry mugged him. Dude......Delly is just awesome. He is going to fuck around and get a statute made for him if he is not careful, lol..

I like this...

To me there really is no GOAT, not Michael, nor Kobe, Brony, Magic or Bird. Not Jabbar, nor Russell, nor Wilt, Hakeem, Shaq, Timmy, Oscar or West...

Just ONE of the GOAT's!

You're right, but not all those guys you mentioned are on the same level, IMO. It's really hard to say that anyone was better than Wilt, but you could say the same about Jordan. Regarding Wilt, I didn't fully realize how unreal of a physical specimen he was until relatively recently. He was a track star in many events when he was younger. Plus, he was super strong. He could bench 500 lbs and deadlift over 600 lbs. The dude was like a Biblical giant who could also run and jump like an Olympian.

I can't believe I'm saying this but lee might actually be the secret ingredient to our offense and the answer to curry getting trapped

Lee specifically isn't the secret. It's just having screener that will actually do something productive with the ball if they get it. Green was that guy all season. In the Finals, he's been a complete and utter bum. He's clearly letting the atmosphere of the Finals get to him

We know that the Warriors are in trouble that they are now turning to David Lee. LOL. However, he played well enough tonight that you have to give him more minutes the next game, but I wonder whether he only looked so good because the other Warrior forwards were so bad.

how the fuck am i supposed to go to sleep after that game? lol

totally and absolutely insane. holding Golden State to 37 in the first half!!! 37! Now THAT is some defense- what a transformation this defense has made- so many people criticized the Cavs defense so much- and now look- they are making their living on it.

Just crazy.

i have to give Curry some credit in the 2nd half though. His release reminds me of Dan Marinos in Super tecmo bowl....that release is just so unique and so fast and so good. Its just special to him and its freaking glorious when he has it going. that 3 he made at hte bottom of the Tv screen (wherehe flopped trying to get the 4 point play) was just insane. He finally looked like he was getting lose- and that is scary. Because dman is he good.

Klay Thompson has proved he is not intimidated by hte moment at all. He has been by far their best player in my opinion. Seriously- how do you get probably the best 2 shooters in the league in the SAME back court- and Thompson plays very good D- JR Smith really didnt get shit against him and had to do his work against others. Thompson really has wiped Smith off the face of the series for the most part while dominaitng offensively. What a player. I wouldnt give him up and the pupu platter for Love either!

Iggy is such a pro too- he really has played pretty darn good defense. You can tell when LeBron gets fed up with it and just dominates him physically- but Iggy has made it as tough on LeBron as anyone in the playoffs not named Butler.

Watching Golden State for 3 straight games you can see all the frekaing pieces they have and why they have played so brilliant going into the Finals.

Gotta give the Cavs D some major credit.

Is anyone out there trying to say that the Memphis defense was a tougher challenge than this Cavs defense anymore?

Green tried to force it inside way to much. Just make the simple play

Couldn't hit free throws though LOL
