I'm sorry, were you here when this conversation actually started? Yes, that was my point.
My guess would be the same ones you claim will STOP, eh hum, make Klay's like hard and contain Curry. Did you forget whom they are already???

LOL Think what you want. The fact is you came in the convo late and gave your two cents. No harm no foul.No it's not. If it was your point, you'd of said "Can you even name a defender that can stop him for a 7 game series?", not "Can you even name a defender that was even able to stop him for one game?"
You tried making a point and asked a question, and I answered your question, proving your point incorrect.
LOL I would imagine he won't be doing that long...given all those screens the team likes to set for Curry.

When did i say they had 3 great defenders?? I'm pretty sure that's you that is confused. And yes, you did say they need to contain Klay and Curry. It's only a few pages back my friend.I never said they would stop him, I said they needed to push him off the 3 line, make him drive, and dont give him many open looks.
Lebron and Shumpert are two defenders. Lebron is playing the 4 though so I never said they had 3 great defenders lol. You must be confused. Shumpert needs to guard Curry, and JR will guard Klay when he is in. Shit, put Dova on Curry, so Shump can bother Klay. You know Dova is up for the challenge.

I know Delly is down to take out ankles and knees of the other teams' best shooters.
the Cavs just got done dominating the Hawks who screen better than any team outside of San Antonio.
Ya know why?
because the Cavs have a number of versatile, tough defenders that can switch when screened. This is a big time advantage when defending the three point shot- and one of the main reasons the Cavs are by far the best team in the playoffs at defending the 3 pt shot.
Think about it
LeBron- can switch ANYTHING
Shumpert- can guard anything from the PG to an opposing small 4 like a Barnes or Green
Jr Smith- has the size to and athletic ability to switch the pick and roll and can guard perimeter players or smaller front court players
Delly- while he doesnt have the size he certainly has the strength to switch and play D- in FACT - he was put in the pick and roll and screened often and did a GREAT job boxing out the likes of Gibson and Horford so much so that they lost their minds and got frustrated.
Tristan Thompson- is an EXCELLENT big man at switching - I remember the San Antonio game vividly where he switched onto TP a ton and guarded him well. He has done it all playoffs. He is one of the best bigs in the game at switching onto a guard and doing a solid job against them.
Its the one thing that gives me hope against Golden State. - the Cavs are talented enough to not have to fight through screens and make that tough decision of whether to go over or under screens- they can merely switch just about everything. Its one advantage they have going forward.
Shit Delly plays hard just like Draymond, he just doesnt showboat and blab his mouth like Draymond
Well, it's official that Klay has been cleared by the league to play. We shall see that great match up with JR and Klay. But I have a question. If JR is running around exerting all his energy tryin to 'contain' Klay where is he gonna get the energy to pitch in offensively? And you also might wanna make sure he hasn't hit the local hot club the night before making it rain at the bar.
I'm jus saying...that will make for a bad night if you're depending on JR.
We'll see...if Kyrie can't get his knee to cooperate then that will definitely change the scheme of things for your team.Shump will start on him. JR is coming off the bench, he will be well rested
Sure, albeit in the middle of the conversation, but that isn't important!![]()
Not really. When you make a pretty straightforward statement like "Can you even name a defender that was even able to stop him for one game?", it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you're asking for someone to provide an example of one game where a defender was able to stop him.
Unless this is one of those instances where you say one thing but really mean something entirely different and I should somehow obviously know that what you meant was something entirely different from what you said...makes me think you may be a woman...

To clear things up, that defender didn't stop Curry, which again was the point that you insist on trying to change. Just because you gave examples (bad examples, none-the-less) doesn't mean they're right or that you've proven anything other than you're unable to keep up.![]()
