Going to Boston this weekend to see the B's, Celtics, and Pats

I actually won this trip back in October at a junior hockey game. All expenses paid including tickets to each game. I just have to pay for my food, beer, and strippers.

Celtics vs Thunder Friday night. Not a huge NBA fan but I'm told these are 2 good teams and it will be my first NBA game (not counting on pre-season game) plus we'll be watching from a private suite so I'm pretty pumped.

Bruins vs Kings Saturday night. Should be a good game and my first NHL game in almost 3 years.

Pats vs Colts Sunday. First NFL game in 6 years. Brady vs Manning. Should be awesome!

Lucky man. Boston is a fun city... I am going to the Celtics game next week, my first NBA game as well, should be interesting. Hope it is more entertaining live, I'm sure it'll be a good time.

lol, exactly. I'm going to see family up in Maine for Thanksgiving. My Uncle has season tix to the Celtics, so were going on the 26th. Celt/Nets, should be a definite win, so my first experience will atleast be a good one. I cant watch it on tv, but thats kind of how I am with baseball, but baseball is right behind hockey live, so I'm guessing basketball will be better live too. Either way. have a good time. Ever been to a Bruins game before? TD Banknorth is fucking AWESOME! Unless your wearing away shit, you may be heckled a little. :p

Haha nope I've never been to a Bruins game before. I've only been to games in Montreal and NYC so I'm anxious to see both basketball and hockey at TD Banknorth. I have been across the street from that venue before though when Hooters was tehre but I hear that's not there anymore. But thanks and yeah I'm sure it will be a weekend to remember.

Oh and no worries. I won't be wearing any away team stuff to any of the games. I'm pretty much neutral to all Boston teams, (well I don't like the Pats much but don't dislike them as much as I use to plus I don't care for the Colts much either), so I might as well cheer for the hometeam while I'm there. Plus the Bruins are playing Sharks division leader.

Sounds Great Julian. Boston's a cool city (aside from the traffic) If you're flying leave plenty of time to get to Logan.

Aside from the BB game the other two should be great. You lucky dog I'm jealous.

Sounds like a fun trip. I am no NBA fan, or basketball fan in general but the Washington Wizards (then the Bullets) used to play a handful of regular season games in Baltimore and I went to a few. It was usually a good time. I think it would be better in Boston, so I think it will be an fun experience.

Thanks guys. I'm sure it will be a blast. Most of you guys probably live in cities with your own major pro sports teams and get to goto a few games a year. But Boston is the closest major city to me and its about 6.5 hours and an international border away so this is pretty exciting to be going to 3 in 1 weekend!
