Boomer here ... the game and players are much better than they were when I was young (60s/70s). I don't think that I'll ever get used to the idea of a so-called "blind side block" being illegal or the that of a "defenseless player" being off-limits, but I get it for player safety purposes.
Boomer: We accepted there were bad calls because we did not have Hi Def Slo Mo Frame by Frame reviewable penalties.
I hate this aspect of the game now.
Ugh. That supposed blind side block call in the Bills game was terrible IMO. The guy is still chasing the QB with evil intent and you can't knock him down?
Yeah, I think that's one of the dumbest rules in professional sports

I think one line of demarcation is 4th down decisions. If you are happy with your team consistently punting on 4th and 1 at or near midfield, then you might be a boomer.
I don't understand why there are 2 different penalties for what used to be called "clipping".
BTW, not a boomer (gen x).

Of course, the decision to go for it is determined a lot by game circumstances. Also, if you have a dominating defense, I think that would increase the odds in going for it.
And wile we're at it, I've never understood how a 5 yard penalty and a 15 yarder offset
