God, I love Husker Football

I tee off in one of the most important golf tournaments in my life in just a few hours, and I can't get to sleep. Why?? Because I can't get the Husker fight song out of my head. I can't stop picturing the sea of red....can't stop hearing the volume of the crowd...

I can't get rid of that feeling, when we're all standing around the stadium, or even the tv...just waiting to see red and white come fucking storming out onto the field.....with Bo leading the way. It's not anything like it was 3 years ago. Things have changed.

I don't give a shit that we play Northeast Norfolk Western Institute of Technology to start off the year......I hope we shut them out and they all go home to tell their parents they played the mother fucking Huskers....the fucking hardest most badass defense in the nation. Pardon my French....

I can't wait for the weather to change......for it to be 8 o'clock at night and it's pitch dark outside and we're all pumped full of energy like it's 1 in the fucking afternoon because Bo Pelini is standing on the sidelines with veins popping out of his neck looking for absolute perfection from his players and his coaching staff.

I noticed that Big 12 media days start on July 26th......Bo takes the podium first. I'm excited for that......

I'm wearing a Husker polo tomorrow at my golf tournament.........fuck Texas....

this is what im doing the first weekend in august

8/5 5:30 leave for Gothenburg NE

8/6 - 8 am Wildhorse / 2 pm Wildhorse

8/7 - 7 am Meadowlark Hills / Drive to Grand Island / 2 pm Indianhead GC Grand Island

8/8 - 8 am - York CC

^^ That sounds like fun. I know several people who have made little golf trips like that, and they say it is a dang good time.

My tournament today was definitely the biggest tournament I've ever played in.....it was a qualifier for the Amateur......I haven't played in anything that even comes close to comparing to that except for maybe State golf in high school

Tomorrow I have a men's open I'm playing in over at Summerland golf course. Then the Amateur event will be at Happy Hollow I believe the week after this coming week. That is a 4 day event, just like a pro tournament.....I'll have to make the cut after the first 2 days in order to play the weekend.

I've never played or even seen Happy Hollow before.....don't have a clue what to expect.
