Nah, I'm counting on at least 24 points from the offense. The gnats are not the chargers so they will have 17 points at best. My prediction this week was 24-21 however, I do not think we allow them 21.So 17 points?

Agree to disagree on giving the Chargers the game. The Skins were fortunate to hold the them to 20 points and be in the game for as long as they were. It wasn't some cheap turn over it was good defense that caused Gibson's fumble, Had Hopkins made that FG the Skins lose 20-19, not 20-16 and it might've made a 15 yard difference or so in field position. Instead the Chargers getting ball at their 41 yd ln. They get it somewhere around their 25 yd ln. If everything works out the way it did from there. Instead getting ball at the Skins 5 yd ln or whatever after Gibson's fumble. The Chargers get it at the Skins 20 yd ln.
Coaching, at least imo, was the biggest reason the Skins lost that game.
RR play called too conservatively on the Skins last drive not going for it on 4th down. Del Rio play called too scared the entire game which gave Herbert time to throw and Turner's play calling had the skins offense looking a whole lot like last year's Skins. Very vanilla, very boring and not too hard to defend.
Charger fans would say the gave up a td prior to the fumble .We gave them 10 points with the Gibson fumble and the missed FG. RR made the right call not going for it on 4th down. We had them 3rd and 16. Percentage wise we get off the field. We gave them the game. Plus we had on starting QB go out with injury.
By that 'we gave them' rationale the Chargers give the Skins 10-14 points with Herbert's fumble out the end zone (bad call) and his red zone INT making both teams even again or putting the Chargers 4 points in the hole.We gave them 10 points with the Gibson fumble and the missed FG. RR made the right call not going for it on 4th down. We had them 3rd and 16. Percentage wise we get off the field. We gave them the game. Plus we had on starting QB go out with injury.
What’s not good about the cosmi thing is, he supposedly won his starting job due to handling sweat and young in practice. What’s that say about those two?I think the Chargers were a lot better than the score. At least three points better based on the bad call that resulted in a touchback and the WTF getting the ball.
Not to be negative Ned but I came away from this game with a lot of questions. Why was Fitz being hammered into an offense that didn't in some way fit him? Is the coaching (front office) trying to make guys they drafted fit? Davis was not good, the Chargers went after St. Juste and Cosmi. I get that they are rookies but there might have been better players on the bench.
The rookies getting their asses handed to them, that happens. Bosa is a top tier pass rushing stud who after being injured most of last season. Was probably turned up to 11 yesterday. Kinda surprised to see St Juste listed at 6'3" 200 pounds he didn't look that big to me. Mike Williams on the other hand is every bit of of 6'4" 218 pounds. With little to no pressure on Herbert it turned into a long day for our CBs especially St Juste it seems. What's important now hopefully Cosmi and St Juste learn from yesterday and it makes them better players. And Del Rio could stand to learn a thing or two as well. I know they say Herbert is deadly against pressure/the blitz etc. But he was pretty damn deadly being able to stand tall and deliver the rock w/o any pressure to.I think the Chargers were a lot better than the score. At least three points better based on the bad call that resulted in a touchback and the WTF getting the ball.
