The league can just come out and say a visor is part of the helmet, just like the chin strap and not an addition to it - problem solved right there. Unilateral decisions often work the best when it comes to the league and the PA.

The hybrid icing is going to take more than a couple of broken femurs and a dozen concussions before anything happens; unfortunately it will take somebody getting paralyzed.

just in last nights game, Tim Gleason took 16 stitches above the eye from a stick and Sanguinetti took 13 stitches to the face form a skate blade.

Gleason came out for the 3rd period wearing a visor.


of course, he also tried to get in a fight, 16 stiches and all.

Hockey.

'nuff said.


16 stiches, missed a couple of shifts, still tried to fight.

My beef is with the zamboni drivers and not the machines themselves. Any good zamboni operator should be able to lay a sheet of ice and know when to turn off the water so there aren't puddles near the goal lines.

Incompetent zamboni drivers are almost as bad as incompetent zebras.

Wind turbines will be installed on the zambonis, it will be like the new "wave" when the are headed away from the fans they will be required to blow hard to propel it.
