I watched the game the other night against Philly at my cousin's house. My son was studying Holtby. After the second period he said to me "That guy moves, like... REALLY well. How big is he?" He hasn't paid much attention to Holtby the last few years (His favorites are Bobrovsky, Rinne and Price). But he's kind of obsessed with how Holtby covers the net.

He was very excited to learn that Mitch Korn is Holtby's coach now. I think that's the goalie camp he's going to this summer.

Ahhhh. Despite repeated heart crushings and no success to stoke the fire, I will believe and believe and believe until it happens. Because that is what being a fan is all about.

Also, this team is just better than past teams. More complete - so much talent and depth, playing the right way, mentally strong.

Furthermore, I love the hate. It fuels me. Also, who hates the Caps?!? We're pathetic - we hold the record for worst record of all-time and most series lost with a 2-game lead. I hate Pittsburgh because I'm bitter and jelly. If you hate teams like the Caps, Canucks, or Sharks (especially if its not a rival), you're just a dick.

I sort of figured that last part...but you've been feisty lately, so who knows. I really don't hate the Caps, only one hateable is Wilson...and I find Orpik insufferable as always. Overall they're likable and fun to watch, even if OV slowing up recently made it not quite as fun.

I hate the Caps. But only when we play them. Other than that I generally like them. I like Kuznetzov and Backstrom and OV when he isn't scoring against the Pens or stealing Hart trophies from Crosby or Malkin.

Also, I like hating the Caps because it brings out 'Loco Eloco' who is very entertaining....
