This is a cool thread, as I have an iTunes playlist called "Full Albums" of albums that I must listen to, in their entirety, from start to finish. Here are some of my highlights:

Styx - Grand Illusion
Boston - Boston
Hoodoo Gurus - Kinky
Depeche Mode - Black Celebration
Depeche Mode - Violator
Fastball - All the Pain Money Can Buy
Flesh For Lulu - Plastic Fantastic

They Might Be Giants - Flood (I self-declare this the winner :p)

Depeche Mode - Violator

An entirely underappreciated and underrated album. Well done.

Oh, and Smiths - Strangeways, here we come.
Soul Asylum - Grave Dancer's Union
and
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds. Maybe the first "Concept" album ever.

Ziggy Stardust David Bowie
yeah, that's a strong one, too. Good call.
The Cure - Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (I prefer it to Disintegration which I also like - but it has Snakepit on it).
yeah, great album(s). The one song I don't like on it is "Shiver and Shake"
Can't believe no said "The Wall"
great album, but there's a lot of stuff on there you wouldn't point to as 'yeah, that's a great tune'.

Temple Of The Dog......... Temple Of The Dog
Pearl Jam........ Ten
Pearl Jam is a good one.
TotD is great, I never really liked Pushin Forward Back. You should check out Mad Season. It was another one off album with a lot of the same guys. Layne Stayley on vocals instead of Cornell.
Hoodoo Gurus - Kinky
Nice - i thought I was their only fan on this continent. My favourite album of theirs is Mars Needs Guitars, followed by Blow your Cool. I never really listed to much after "Crank"... the got all bible-thumpery on that one.
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds. Maybe the first "Concept" album ever.
I figured that one would show up. For the life of me I can't listen to that all the way through.
imho (I realize I might be on an island here), the Beach Boys are glorified jingle writers. I just can't listen to it.

nice work everyone! some great stuff.

oh yeah, I see Van Halen I show up a couple of times.
I considered it, but "I'm on Fire" was the weak point for me there.

oh yeah..... add ZZ Top - Tres Hombres to my list

I dont like that much either. Fight is not my favorite either. Snakepit is my least liked song though. So its far from a perfect album, but it does have 18 songs on it so I was a bit forgiving. A few weeks before graduation a bunch of us skipped school and went to a local beach and I got really drunk on California Cooler (I was drinking it from the 2 liter bottle - classy!). Naturally I felt awful the next day, but as I trudged to school I listed to the song Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me and the long musical interlude at the beginning really seemed to sum up how I felt. I am not sure if 'sounds like hangover' is a good thing or bad, I mean it in a good way.

I like Hoodoo Gurus but never had one of their albums to listen in full. I did always like a non single about baseball they had called "wheres that hit" and I do have their singles collection "Ampology" and enjoy that. Love the guitar at the beginning of "Miss Freelove '69".

A couple more:

The Church - Of Skins And Heart (ahead of Starfish and The Blurred Crusade - all three have one iffy song on them IMO though)
Nick Cave - Let Love In (Lay Me Low doesnt work for me though)

Oasis - What's the Story (Morning Glory)
Filter - Short Bus
Soundgarden - Superunknown

You would be surprised how many times I have had to argue this point with idiots! Or they try to say it's Jerry Cantrell!

Yeah, I didn't like Crank either. IMO all of their previous albums are listenable from beginning to end. I picked Kinky as it has 4 of my favorite songs of theirs: Miss Freelove, Castles in the Air, 1000 Miles Away, and I Don't Mind.
