One of the weaknesses of the ZBS is scoring TDs in the red zone. Maybe they get more due to more opportunities, but the percentages of TDs inside the 20 are unlikely to go up.
I don't recall that being a weakness in the late 1990's.......

This will be Drew Brees last year in New Orleans.

You may be right.
With TD they could score from anywhere on the ground but over all it would be interesting to combine Shanny and Kubiak's two HC stints together and see how many top 10 offenses they had in terms of yards and how they fared the same year in terms of points.

Mike always equated yards to points but I bet you will find more top 10 offenses in terms of yards to top 10 in terms of points probably 2 to 1.

It is an offense that can stall in the Red Zone because of the spacing. Safeties are not playing as far off the LOS worrying about the deep ball so you see them coming up on those stretch zone plays stopping it a little quicker. Now the 90's offense yes did not have any problems but they also had every piece you could ever want in an offense with a HOF QB, incredible OL, HOF RB (or at least should be), 2 great WR's, and a HOF TE. Right now the only thing we really have that matches those offenses is 2 great WR's. So we could see some drives stall if that is the case. At the same time if we are moving the ball and getting those chunk yards then I am happy to watch this offense even if they don't finish off every drive because taking time off the clock will be huge this year for our defense to do even better than last year.

With the preseason just around the corner, let's hear some predictions ... Give me one bold ( realistic ) prediction for the upcoming season . .

Me:

Well my top-10 rushing prediction isn't even close. We were decent before Anderson went down but yeah since then it has been a nose dive for that rushing offense.
