However, the defense's problems have not been the secondary...it's been the DL/LB's giving up nearly 5 yards a pop in the ground game while covering no one, and getting no pressure.

Today...they got after the QB a bit, made tackles in open field situations, kept gains to a minimum, and everyone chipped in keeping Ingram in check.

Maualuga makes a difference against the run. As much as we all like to clown his ass, the dude certainly toughens up our front. We've gotta find a pass rusher in the draft. Hunt is a a total bust. Play the kid from West Virginia. He's massive. Looks just like Michael Johnson physically. Doesn't mean he can play like him but at least try something new.

I agree. Not surprising to learn that Marvin has been burying a talented rookie on the bench while we've struggled to get a pass rush.

And what about Burkehead? He kept drives alive... I think you could really use him more as well. Like having our own Danny Woodhead out there. I was really impressed with the kid. And then they took him out.
