On the radio, Flem was saying that the pads' pitchers walk more than any team in the majors this year, and that the Giants haven't had a single walk in the series.
That defensive miss by Pagan is why the Mets' fan-boards were happy to see him leave NY.
I couldn't tell if he got a bad jump or if that ball was hit so hard nobody could have caught it.
The Giants need to do something they've struggled with this year: score runs when they have a lead.
Richard learned how to bunt from Giants pitchers. Nice.

Giants now 0 for 4 with RISP.
I didn't see his first step(s) {hard to do on TV} but I think he simply mis-judged the ball. He wasn't *running* back to the ball, he was sort of fading/jogging back, and just never got to it.
Edit: about not seeing an OFs first steps on TV... In 2008 I went to a lot of games (40?) because a close friends' boss had season tickets and was too busy to go to games, so he'd give her his AAA seats and she'd give them to me. I used to have a running bet ($1 per guess) with a neighbor at the park on how many wrong steps Freddy Lewis would take when the next ball was hit to LF before stopping and heading in the right direction. It was generally at least 2, and the worst one I remember was 5 steps. If you just saw him play on TV, you'd think he made a bunch of spectacular catches and was a great OFer. But he made all those running, last-minute catches because he tended to start running the wrong way on almost every ball hit to him.
