Giants scouts have hit the mark on talent inside and out

You have to commend the Giants scouting department who have gone out and scouted talented players that not only have physical skills but also have a special mental edge that is needed on the highest level. Even some of the players that are not the most gifted have that edge that drives them over the top. When you see guys like Bum ,Buster, Romo,Cain,Vogelsong,Lincecum,Crawford,Belt,and you bring in guys like Pagan,Pence,Scutaro,Affeldt, Lopez , Ishikawa ,Hudson, Peavy, and Ross. Now they have guys coming up like Panik who is a born leader and looks just like Buster and could be his little brother. Joey P. is a born leader and will keep this team going forward when Posey decides to hang up his cleats one day.Duffy is another special breed who has a certain fire in his belly.

Players like Susac,Strickland,Maxwell,and Carbonell all have a good upside to them. You can already see the confidence in some of these young players ..some that were around for the WS Title last year and contributed. That experience in those big games will excellerate the confidence and the coolness needed when the shit gets thick in big games.

The scouts have been doing a great job and deserve praise. They understand that there is more to the game then to just have overpowering physical skills. There is this thing called heart and the will to win and that is a mighty powerful thing to have.
