I think the coaching staff and front office will be benched at season's end as well.
not only did they bench him, they made him 3rd string lol. so basically daboll is telling him, "thanks a lot you worthless fuck, i'm going to lose my job because of you"
Jones will be alright.Jones was re-signed for $45.5M in 2023 and $35.5M in 2024 with both years fully guaranteed. The Giants had an option on him at $30M for 2025 so it made sense to see if they could salvage him this year. He's being benched now because $23M of the 2025 money is guaranteed for injury and they don't want to risk him failing his medical in March. They'd probably still play him if he waived the injury clause. The smart way to handle it is to release him in the 1st 4 days of the new NFL year as a Post Jun 1 cut. That would prevent the $11.1M cap hit due to be accounted for in 2026 from accelerating into 2025.
New York Giants:
All is lost, let's put in the Passin' Paisan from Cedar Grove in in North Jersey, at least we can sell some tomato sauce
and they also pay Jones how much?
That is why they are making him the #3 QB.....they do not want to risk him getting hurt....Jones was re-signed for $45.5M in 2023 and $35.5M in 2024 with both years fully guaranteed. It's a nominal designation. I'm not sure they'll allow him to dress as the emergency #3 QB on game day. What would be the point? They may not even allow him to practice. He could blow an ACL on the practice field when he wasn't doing anything that would benefit the team. Practice is a tiny-risk-no-reward scenario. Home for the holidays...and beyond. That or every PR visit they can send him on.That is why they are making him the #3 QB.....they do not want to risk him getting hurt....
A loooootttttt more than the average 3rd string qb makes
No doibt!Jones will be alright.
Solid provider for his family.
No doibt!
The guy can retire in his 20s and be rich for the rest of his life.

Giants should’ve ditched Jones well before now, he’s had only one okay season in 2022 and that’s it. He’s a turnover machine and not a good passer. I wasn’t even impressed with him in college, and I was stunned when the Giants picked him in the top 10 and thought it was a big mistake, so I’m not surprised they’ve wasted several years with him.
