Four years, $100 million.

Not quite the max, but a sweet deal nonetheless. Only 21, he's on the cusp of all-stardom this year.

Geez....after the spirited debate that already took place in another place, Ill just say this:

This Kids Story is simply incredible.

What he went thru..

How he survived...

What he has willed himself to become for his family....

He deserves great things.

Milwaukee was the perfect landing spot for this kid.

For those unfamiliar with his story, this is a great read.

Why the 'Greek Freak' isn't just another $100M man
ill def.ha ve to read that tonight...

would he go #1 in that draft if it was redone today? probably right?

that was one of the worst draft classes I have ever seen- especially the "top" prospects.....Bennett, Oladipo, Porter, Len, McLemore, Zeller, Len, Pope, Burke, ...those are your top 9....

Yeah, with the benefit of hindsight, he'd be #1.

But, Nobody would have taken him with the top spot at that time.

some interesting guys later in the draft...Gobert probably goes #2 and he was way later down...McCollum def. goes top 10, maybe top5 .....

that draft class- at the top- was just awful- Oladipo was the only guy that carried little risk - but he had really shown nothing until his junior year at Indiana and was not even really on the radar as a 1st rounder until the season started--- and he goes #2.....Bennett is obviously the biggest disaster. Porter jr. was a guy i liked forth e Cavs early on the process and hes done about nothing too....kinda crazy...

Yeah, only lightly jab you about Fat Boy Bennett because most of those guys have been a disaster.

I'd probably go Freak, McCollum, Gobert.

Pope, Adams, Shroeder, Len, Noel have great promise too.

Crabbe and Dieng won't be stars. But, they will have long careers.

The biggest disappointments have been Bennett, Burke, Carter-Williams, Shabazz and Mcelmore.

Jury is still out on Porter.

Yeah the 2013 Draft was awful. Probably one of the worst ever, actually. It's right up there with the 2000 NBA Draft.

Here would be my top 10 from that year:

1) Giannis
2) Gobert
3) McCollum
4) Schroeder
5) Adams
6) Oladipo
7) Noel
8) Len
9) Dieng
10) Crabbe

Caldwell-Pope puts up better numbers than Crabbe. Percents are a little lower, but PER and WS are higher as well as raw numbers.

Yeah, damn I missed him. I really like KCP's game. Think he has a chance to be an elite stopper, but needs to get a bit more consistent on offense.

Like @logic points out, I'd take Pope over Crabbe.

But, can't argue with your list.

He needs a point guard that passes the damn ball before there are 2 seconds on the shot clock and he finds himself in a jam. But, yeah, he's a streaky shooter too, with a little too much cool steak.

Reggie Jackson has to be one of the most unattractive people I have ever seen.

But, he has game.

He just needs to learn how to share.

You aren't kidding, that boy hurts to look at. But he can get it to the hole, which is great with just Drummond down low and KCP, Johnson, and Harris outside. He just has to go sooner in the shot clock and he either gets a bucket, dumps it to Andre down low, or has a shooter spotting up. I'm expecting big things from this lineup this year with a training camp and full season together.

Me too. I think with the addition of Tobias Harris and with the recent play of Marcus Morris, you need a PG who can distribute more than score. But I like the Pistons upside this year.
