Getting Ready for Undefeated Navy going to #15 Notre Dame

Okay so I know most Irish fans probably think Notre Dame will win this game... however Navy is undefeated and looking to upset the Irish... Do they stand a chance to win against the Irish on Saturday at Notre Dame?

Depends if ND comes focused to play or not. Navy doesn't have the athletes to theoretically compete with ND. But this is a classic trap game and ND might not be completey focused.

True, I mean I am not surprised that Navy could be threat to Notre Dame... Every year it is like that but like you said ND has to be focused and not think about last week.

I said before the season that this is perhaps the most dangerous game on the Irish schedule. It is the perfect sandwich between two huge games (Clemson and Southern Cal) plus, Navy is none too easy to prepare for (or recover from, looking back to what happened to defensive captain Joe Schmidt last year.)

I certainly hope the Irish can win this one, but I will not be at all surprised if they come out looking flat as hell.

Navy is a tough adjustment for any team with their style of play. I think I read a ridiculous statvsomewhere about how many teams lose or fail to cover in games following navy due to this. USC the following week could be difficult for ND but the way the series has gone lately...... I think ND bounces back and beats navy and the rivalry game following is another classic between SC/ND
