I became convinced that while Phil Jackson was the best coach in the NBA that he would be a horrible gm when I found out that he tried to make Jerry Buss trade Kobe Bryant for Jason Kidd after only one championship. When I realized that he was going to New York and would not be a gm for the Lakers - I celebrated with a six pack because I knew then that New York was screwed and you my friend have my deepest sympathies.

yea i can't argue this, but i will say that a good coach, one thats not afraid to lay into Melo esp. Melo just isn't smart enough a player to lead. As far as porzingas goes, he needs a mentor! and there is no one on this team that is a true leader.... we may see them go on a run, but it won't last!

The quote I read suggested it was more about defense than offense. Lee wanted the defense to practice more against pick & roll and the type of offense that they face from other teams.
