More like Carroll told TB he wanted him.Wonder what role Brady played in Geno becoming a Raider
You made a back handed comment like you usually do when I come up with solutions on replacing Geno. Don't play dumb.I have no idea what you are even arguing.

Boxscores are never accurate story tellersYou see the BIG issue with geno in this one. Those INT's, almost twice as many as Herbert. It's always at the VERY worst time also when Geno turns the ball over. Game changing moments. I would also argue that Geno played on a better team with better skill position players around him. I would 100% take Herbert over Geno every single day of the week and twice on Sunday. Geno is in those stats a 2 to 1 TD int guy but thats not who he has been the last 2 years or for his career. Remove 2022 and you will see what i mean. Herbert on the other hand is a 3 to 1 guy. Geno's 2022 season was crazy and will never ever happen again. I remove the outliers when looking at a player.
My thoughts as well... In this case, one man's trash, is another man's treasure...turning a bust QB that we signed off the street into a 3rd round pick was not a bad run. Good luck to him and the raiders I hope him and PC have success in Vegas.
you are correct but the type of INT's they throw are. Geno loved throwing them when inside the 20 removing points off the board for the Seahawks. He lead the league with INT's inside the 20 the past 2 years.Boxscores are never accurate story tellers
BOOM.Seattle's OC coached Darnold.
Watch it happen.
I said that drafting a QB in the middle rounds is unlikely to yield a good QB. You think that is challenging you?
It's weird that some of you think I have some big bias for Geno. I don't care about Geno. But I care about our team being competent. Right now, we are pretty far from that.
It has nothing to do with being challenged, it's merely pointing out how ridiculous the comment is while all prospects are unknown. Could Seattle flop on a QB drafted? Yep. Could Seattle hit on a drafted QB? Yep. Can Geno lead this team to a SB run? No. Running Geno back is spinning wheels going nowhere and that's the worst to be in.They are flawed prospects that are far more likely to fail than be competent much less excel.

Now we need some o-line guysOK? I'm not advocating for Geno. He's gone. Time to move on.
For real. Now we need some o-line guys
Their OL was similar to the Seahawks OL, good tackles weak IOL.For real.
Darnold had a good OL in Minnesota and he isn't mobile like Geno. Seattle's OL last season wasn't very good.
You nailed the Darnold predictionThese are rumors I've heard - apologies if already posted:
Remember, all rumors. I'm just posting several items that may have led up to this.
- Schneider was never really a huge Geno fan, it was a bridge at best... Carroll loved Geno. MAY have been the reason Carroll was let go.
- DK and Geno had beef with one another - if anything moving on from Geno may actually mean DK resigns. Not only do you have the cap but DK may be happier staying knowing Geno wont be the QB now.
- Kubiak/Schneider have been strongly linked to Darnold, who's value may be cheaper than Geno's at this point.
- Geno wanted somewhere between $40-45M, which Seattle may have flat out just said no to.
- Schneider is a QB draft guy... he does pinpoint guys he likes with certain qualities... he may very well be targeting someone early in this draft.
- Remember, he wanted Wilson. Carroll DID NOT. He also liked Allen, Mahomes, and was a key part in Rodgers. Again, all rumors, I have never spoken to John personally.
One thing I’ve seen watching Darnold, he throws a good ball, but does tend to hang onto the ball too long… He needs to improve in that area … He had a dam good year, looked solid until that playoff game, ouch, not sure what happened there …For real.

Possibly
He isn't very mobile, he needs a really good OL and ours regressed last season but he showed signs at times. But, getting hurt slowed him down.
