I still think we had a pretty good period but its clear that the Red Wings have picked it up a lot. We need to push the peddle through the floor now and battle harder to those loose pucks and start winning the battles not only in our zone but in theirs.

More sustained pressure in their zone would be advised, we CANNOT start playing to "not lose" at any cost right now.

he had a pretty good first period but he just looks lost in that chippy, physical, grinding sort of play. I think if we can get some sustained pressure in their zone he may light up for some good shifts.
