:L

Giants are NOT a HR hitting team. And yet they are all trying to hit HR's, rather than getting on base and "moving the line".

I know we are going through a bad stretch, a really bad stretch, but this has been the case for the past two seasons.

Where is the hitting coach?

Hitting tonight with RISP?

Giants 0-8

Philth 4-7

And THAT, my friends, is the ballgame.

Ramirez didn't help things much by jogging toward Victorino.

Agreed. Guy has got almost as many reps as posts. Must have several alts, and reps himself over and over.

So much for Beltran's advice to Torres to work the count.

We are still in 1st place in the NL West, but this past week has felt like a freaking disaster. All our weaknesses have been magnified. And unlike last year, this current team seems to have no heart. Too many injuries. Too much lineup turnover. Too much jimmyjacking the youngsters. No ability to scout and develop top hitting talent. We keep signing old retreads, and hope it works.

I have hope for the playoffs, but that hope is being sorely tested the last 10 days or so.

I want to see some swagger and spark in this team. I liked the $3 million Huff better than the $11 million Audrey. He was hungry to prove something last year. This year, he flat out sucks.
