Damnit guys with all that pantshatting above I thought the old Zito had shown up and it was 5-0 Mets... and my beer tasted sour. Now, now I am happy and on second taste this is a very good beer. Almost ruined my beer foos! :nono:

Thats cool...

Neither has anyone else :) MAN, that board has died :/

There was a rather small group of loud-mouthed assholes who drove many people away - kinda like what I heard the ESPN board was like. Heck, I could probably be counted as one of them because whenever somebody dumped on me, I'd dump on them twice as much, and for some strange reason it would escalate. ;) Then there'd be a raging fight for a day or three until it cooled down. I saw no reason why I should just shut up and let the "asshole gang" jump all over me - I gave as good as I got. So 3-5 guys would keep fights raging pretty constantly - I'm sure you can guess the screen names of one or two of them. ;)

What really pissed me off was that they'd purposefully rag on new posters for their first 30-50 posts or so, basically almost ensuring that they'd leave. They wanted to make it "their small, little pond" where they ruled the roost, and ... well, what's that old expression? "Be careful what you wish for". It's a very, very small pond now.

After a HR like that, all I can think is "thank God Zito hasn't walked anybody since the first inning!"

If Zeets is gunna keep the runners off, I am OK if he gives bombs like that every 3rd inning or so.

VERY rough 1st, but has been 2012 Zito ever since...

Me Likey...

Tell me about it! Even in the 1st, Zito didn't get the strike 3 call on Tejada and walked Wright on a 3-2 pitch (a guy batting .500 coming into the game). Even when he misses, he's not missing by much.

Beer? Great idea. Lagunitas IPA time!

Kruk said basically what I was thinking : "Pill really wants to come through for the team after leaving Posey on 3B earlier".

Damn! Another wasted opportunity. And what was Melky thinking? The ball wasn't hit softly! Grrr.

always calsnowskier

I was a semi-reg about 3 years ago, or so. Got about 600 or 700 posts and then decided it wasn't for me.

Well, as it turns out, after Sanchez's FIRST PITCH OUT, it didn't matter if the out was made at home or 1B.
