Not "uh-oh" time yet, but still a little nerve racking.

Padres lost again.....Giants need to grind this one out.

Exactly....patient, grinding ABs. Only two guys have history with this Hudson kid: Huff and Guillen. Huff is 0-1 with two walks and Guillen is 1-2 with a 2 run bomb and a K.

That 5-6-7 part of the order worries me if they start FPOMing and such.

Still and all, I think Zeets will pitch well tonight. Let's pick up a game on those Fraudres.

Actually, I've been think of that very thing the last several weeks. Not so much because Posey is nicked up, but because of Pablo's diminishing range at 3B. Looking more towards next year, and instead of carrying Whiteside.

Not sure if I can stomach watching this one. Watching the niner game as I type.

Just some thoughts: Giants are two games behind the projection I had them for in August, and we're now looking at a 13-15 August. Worse than any projection I've seen. But the fat lady isn't singing yet, she's not even warming up, especially so with the padres hitting their first rough patch. Nevertheless, we also know that that really doesn't matter so long as as the starting pitchers continue to suck. Go Cain.
