Austin Slater – CF
Kris Bryant – RF
Buster Posey – C
Darin Ruf – LF
Evan Longoria – 3B
Brandon Crawford – SS
Wilmer Flores – 1B
Donovan Solano – 2B
Sammy Long – LHP

This is our lefty facing lineup. I guess the backup SS is LaStella.

6-4 good guys

Hopefully, Sammy pitches long into the game and Evan hits a few longballs.

Sammy needs a couple quick innings.

Lefty pinch hitter vs a lefty pitcher? 1 pitch out inning over. Oh well.

At least we tied it up

That was amusing, Ruf struck out on 6 pitches without swinging at any of them.

So much for a sac fly :tsk:

From Grant today:

You shouldn’t need to get used to the Giants looking lost at the plate, either. This was just the sixth time out of 57 home games this season in which they scored one run or fewer. They had 36 such games in 2019 – almost half of their entire home schedule – and they had the same number in 2018. This year’s team is doing just fine when it comes to scoring at home, and when the Giants have been held to one run or fewer at home, they’ve scored an average of five runs in the following game, which is almost exactly what their season average is. The lack of offense was One of Those Things, not an ominous development to watch carefully.

Or as someone here says -- just one of the 60.

Must be a guest writer. I don’t remember Grant ever being that positive.
