MiggE being given his final chance to do ANYTHING before Panda returns. Huff in only b/c Belt's hand is still sore. It's a pretty solid defense with some OF speed. MiggE and Huff with good ownage of Westbrook, who hasn't been all that sharp this year. Current Giants hitting .314 off of him. Poo, Molina, Schumaker all have good numbers vs. Timmah.

I haven't read anything that outlines how Boch wants to use Belt this go-round. I would guess that if he hits, he plays, as usual. Obviously, he is sitting out today with soreness in his wrist from last night, but I expect at least three starts a week between left and first. If he is hitting, he'll be guaranteed five or six.

As far as Panda, he hit a little BP (soft toss) yesterday:

Everything I have been reading is sticking to the six week timetable, which would have him with the big club in a couple of weeks. I think we'll know more after a rehab start in the minors. Side note: I have a buddy that works at the 24 Hour Fitness right by The Phone Booth, and he said Pablo has been working out a lot and told him his wrist feels great.

EDIT: Though, I doubt Panda would confide in a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness if he wasn't feeling well.

I EXPECT Panda to probably be closer to '10 Panda than '09/'11 Panda at the plate for the rest of this year. This is an irritating injury that will not have any long term affects, but it will bother him this year. HOPEFULLY he continues his '11 defense, though...

An off night? The WP was TOO good of a pitch, and the hits have been seeing eye types. 6 K in 4 IP with 0 BB is pretty dominant.

This is a text book case for how hard it is to toss a no-no. Timmeh is throwing with some SICK shit, and he is tagged for 3 runs.
