What's crazy is Wilson didn't pitch all that horrible tonight. Gives up the infield "single", then throws a series of nice, hard breaking pitches that Hinske laid off. He made a shitty pitch to Prado (up in the zone). The pitch to Freeman wasn't horrible.
No excuse for blowing a save, but he didn't pitch like a guy who should be benched IMO.
Yup, I agree. Braves came back and fought hard. They got some well placed hits, but they also had good at bats and worked count leverage. Worked hard for that win.
Unfortunately, all you can do sometimes is just tip your hat and then go get 'em tomorrow.
If last year is any indication, the Giants were really good at coming back from tough losses. Let's hope this year follows the same suit.
Can we ban one of the new guys to make ourselves feel better ???!?!?!!??!?!

Center fielder missed the ball on the last hit?

If not, will you accept volunteers? I volunteer recon!
YES!
Only a Phillies fan suffering can end this pain
Didn't matter. With two outs in the 9th and a full count, runners were already setting up camp at home.
Well, facing a "noob" has been the Giants' downfall all year. We score four today on Hudson, one of the league's best. We score 1 0r 2 off the "noob".
And "guise"? Really?

Only Nick Lowry would have been able to throw out that runner. But Nick is so fast, he would have perhaps fielded the ball, and then run to home, beating the 2nd runner by a considerable margin. And when said runner would have tried "the only path left to him", Nick would have tagged him out with prejudice.
LOL
A brutal loss brings out your creative side it appears.
