All kidding aside, this one hurts. Denies Bum a win. Cancels out the good feelings about the Giants scoring four whole runs. Lopez pitched a great 8th. Lots of positives, and one huge shitburger to end it.

Alright, a bit more whining...

As bad as this offense is, the Giants can't win with mediocre defense. And I don't see the Giants D getting any better up the middle unless some kind of trade happens. Beltran out. Panda gonna miss a couple of days.

I'm one single Giant win away from saying the team is going all the way! For tonight, I've shat mis pantalones and my stomach continues to gurgle.

Romo is close to going on the DL - cranky elbow. Affeldt was warm, but would not trust him with the bases loaded. I would have considered bringing him in to face McCann, but by that time the Giants had already decided to pitch around him and set up the out at any base situation. At that point it's up to Wilson to bear down - he almost did.

What's crazy is Wilson didn't pitch all that horrible tonight. Gives up the infield "single", then throws a series of nice, hard breaking pitches that Hinske laid off. He made a shitty pitch to Prado (up in the zone). The pitch to Freeman wasn't horrible.

No excuse for blowing a save, but he didn't pitch like a guy who should be benched IMO.

Weez can't walk Hinske...just can't do it.
Bourne's sac was fine.
Weez fucked the pooch on Prado
Uggly's strikeout was masterful
Freemans 17 hopper sucked balls.

He wasn't sharp; his real mistake was to Prado. Shit happens.
