No significant ABs vs. Bum for the Bravos; Kepp and RoRo with nice ownage on Huddy.

Fuck those Native Americans....4-1 good guys. :high5:

Won't be around for the thread, but will tune in post-game.

Important 4 game series here is an understatement.

Our best possible (healthy) lineup I guess.

When Beltran comes back, what happens? I guess it depends on Belt, if he doesn't keep hitting he's probably benched, but if he is...bench Huff? Move Nate to CF?

Jeez, who would leadoff in that lineup?

Here's the realistic dream lineup:

Coco Crisp CF
Kepp 2B
Panda 3B
Beltran LF/RF
Huff 1B (if he keeps improving)
Belt/Schierholtz LF/RF (depending on matchups I guess, or whether we need Nate in tricky RF at home...)
Ramon Hernandez C (is he still a waiver possibility?)
O Cab SS

That lineup isn't too bad actually. But we need to pick up 2 players to make it happen...

On the road vs a good team, 2 wins has to be considered a very good series.

For some reason, the Reds are being dumb fucks and seem to be holding on to him. Maybe they still think they're in it?

They're not going to offer him arb with Hannigan already locked up, and the best catching prospect in all of baseball waiting for a shot.

So far this game is a lot like the NLDS. Good pitching. Awful Braves' defense.

I don't care how well Huff has been hitting since the ASB, average-wise, he needs to drive in runs. Our first opportunity with RISP, fail.

MadBum with another 1st inning homer.

Let's get some runs, boys.

Freddie Freeman looks like a player, and a month short of being only 22. He has 453 AB's this season, with 16 homers.

Wonder what would have happened if the Giants had shown that sort of patience with Belt this year?

Of course, we prefer our vets, even with being the worst hitting team in baseball, we gotta play the vets.
