Geno's pumping up the Pens again. Another PP. NOW it's starting to feel like usual.

Johnson and Vokoun both with some great saves this period. Much better flow, the game is finally getting excited, and nice to hear the crowd finally.

I think it was cross-checking. The way Laich went after Malkin after the play makes me think Laich believes Malkin went down a little too easy there. Looked like an obvious call, though.

Only thing that really makes me think he could've gone down easy is the fact that Laich normally doesn't make stupid plays

Not everyone. Pittsburgh gets particularly out of sync when you pressure them hard. Teams like Vancouver or TB, you have to be a little more conservative.

Seems like it. Not a lot of stoppages in play, I guess.
