Good period. Rather dominant, but only 1 goal to show for it. I agree with whomever said this doesn't feel like a normal Pens/Caps game. Very...different. Not sure why it's so empty/quiet in Consol. Pittsburghers are notoriously late for this stuff though. Still, get amped up you rich season ticket holding snobs!

Maybe it has something to do with the pregame Locomotiv tribute? I don't know if that would have have an effect...just a thought.

Good point. Not enough on the line yet. I mean, my heart isn't 100% in it yet, because I know if we lose, it's one loss in game 5 on the year.

Yeah, not the same feel. I think that its SO early in the season is part of it. We've gotten used to the first meeting of these two teams coming as the playoff push begins. This feels like a pre-season exhibition.
