They pegged his +/- pretty low, not factoring he was +7 with the Caps and roughly -87 with the Panthers. Plus, they said Carlson would steal his PP minutes and that his PP numbers would be down. From his time in Florida?!?!. I love Johnny C, but are you kidding? He and Green on the point are awesome.

Anyone else like this D-man streak through the middle we are doing on the PP? I like the increased energy/movement. Seems to open up the outside.

He literally did it less than a second after Beagle went down, he had no idea how severe his hit was on him. Nothing wrong with it. Anyone calling for a fine or suspension needs to just stop watching hockey. Soccer would be better suited for them. (I love soccer as well, but we all know how penalties are handed out in that sport.)

Well (a) its early and (b) we got an extra 1st rounder for a player we were dumping one way or another anyway. It's all gravy.

Also, Varly looking awesome is no surprise. He's an excellent goalie. I've said he may be a top 5 talent and still believe that. But we'll see if he's even on the ice by the end of November. Very frail body.

I will continue to doubt he can stay healthy until he does, especially if he plays 60+ games which it looks like they want him to. 'Tis early, but they do look good
