This is not serious, and it is apples and oranges, but....

Concerning Duffy, here are two players' stats at AA

Player A .313/.383/.599/.982

Player B .338/.405/.448/.853

Player A, of course, is Puig, who jumped from AA to the Dodgers. Player B is Duffy. Puig had/has more power, and more buzz coming up. But Duffy has hit everywhere he has been.

I am not advocating bringing up Duffy. Yet. But with the injuries and struggles of our 2b contingent, I would not rule it out. The PTB's may not have wanted to consider it until next season, but an ideal world does not exist.

He is a SS by nature, but so was EA, who has played mostly 2B with the Giants. Can't be that hard to switch for a good IF, can it? I was an outfielder (and a poor one), so I don't understand the IF skills.
