My guess as the lineup, going against Saunders, a LHP. And Mad Noggin can choose to ignore this guess, at his own peril....

Shark, cf
Riot, 2b
Leche, lf
Gerald, 1b
Oxy, cf
Chez3, c
Kobe, 3b
ManBur, ss
Vogey, p

AB: NO PILL? FUCK YOU.

That's the spirit!

Fair point, Pill is 2 for 6 lifetime vs. Saunders.

Shark is 2 for 3

Leche 3 for 13

Belt is 3 for 4

Riot 6 for 9

RoRo owned this guy, going 5 for 7 against him last year. Imagine what his average would have been otherwise.

We scored six runs against him last time. Let's go double digits today.

Anyone else hear Ratto talking the other day about moving in the fences in right-center...thus removing "triples alley"?

That wouldn't have affected that hit by Melky...but I wonder what the board thinks of the idea.

I did not hear that, but I don't like it. Have the players adjust to the park, not the park to the player. Why would they have built that RF wall with Bonds on the team? Wouldn't a Fenway configuration been better for Bonds? Can you just imagine the homers he would have hit?

Of course, there are some who argue the analogy of Comerica. But heck, Yosemite would have fit well within the confines of Comerica!

I like triples, don't change it. My two cents.

I like triples too...But I hate guys repeatedly hitting home runs to right that are caught at the warning track. I understand the big cause of this is the wind/thick air from the bay. Can't do anything about that. But you can do something about the crazy distance one needs in order to hit a home run to right center.

You're probably right though. And if the team had a better offense, I probably would view any mention of changing the park as blasphemy.
