he didn't blow him off. he shook his hand, patted him on the back, and then bounced off into the sunset. i LOVE his energy. now watch the media make a mountain out of a molehill.

HARBAUGH FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!
[after he coaches the niners for 20 years, i mean]

it really is amazing how the offense, with virtually the same exact personel as last year, is playing so much better. this game is not the best example of how efficient they are, but the poise, and most importantly, IN GAME adjustments, are like night and day. i am beyond impressed by harbaugh. just a great, gritty, emotional coach that is obsessed by the details. i loved him as a qb in the nfl and was very optimistic for what he'd do w/ smith and the offense. i had no idea he'd be this much of a miracle worker.

It was Schwartz who looked like the fool, running after Harbaugh and threatening him.

If we make the playoffs again, I want to play Detroit. I want a game with out mistakes and shitty refs.

I dvr'd the game and one replay was enough for me to see Harbs was not blowing off the opposing coach.

You guys should watch soccer and see how Arsene Wenger blows off other coaches - that's pretty obvious and I'm an Arsenal fan.

Thats called a gallic shrug

I posted my response before the scuffle, fyi...

But he did NOT "shake his hand and pat him on the back".

He sprinted and celebrated (which I have NO problem with) then slapped Schartz' hand without making eye contact and screamed in his face.

Schartz WAY over-reacted, but it wasn't hard to see that coming.

Fuck Jim Schwartz. Just being a baby and trying to start a fight. Am I the only one who thinks Schwartz looks autistic?

Harbs was jumping up and down and pulled a portion of his shirts out of the tucked in the pants position and shook/low five'd Schwartz running off the field.

If you guys think that's low balling by Harbs, you guys are pretty soft.

Harbaugh could of handled that better, but he was excited. Schwartz over reacted big time. This might be the spark for a 49ers-Lions rivalry in the near future.

Crabtree had 15 targets today. Almost half of Smith passes were directed towards crabs.

You mean the Harbs - Pete Carroll / Stanford USC thing?

I went back to the scene once again since it's such a hot topic right now. Yeah Harbs was over exuberant and didn't shake hands "formally" with Schwartz, but he could have ran off the field and passed him completely. Pick your poison.

At the crux of it all, I think we ALL agree to this.

Harbaugh supplied the spark, Schartz poured on the gallons of gasoline.

Yeah, well if we do end up playing them again this year than i am going to assume they want some revenge and the end of the game just sparked that possibility.

I have no problem with what Harbaugh did, but Schwrtz is a high energy guy too. I am not surprised he reacted but i am surprised he reacted as strongly as he did.

Horizontally, at least. If the ball is 15 feet high, is it still considered a "target"?
