Niners need another touchdown drive eat some clock and take the lead to quiet the crowd down some.

They're keeping it simple for Smith which is good. I'd imagine with Detroit putting an LB/S on VD for those passing plays, somebody has to have 1-1 on the outside. Would like to see Smith to get the green light here.

I'm not bitching about anything. I'm talking about a single play. Why the fuck does everybody get so defensive when it's Smith that's the center of the debate?

All I'm saying is that Smith could've stepped up. Staley got destroyed, that's a given, but there was room to step up. Blasphemy, I know.
