GDT: 49ers vs Lions

Niners need another touchdown drive eat some clock and take the lead to quiet the crowd down some.

They're keeping it simple for Smith which is good. I'd imagine with Detroit putting an LB/S on VD for those passing plays, somebody has to have 1-1 on the outside. Would like to see Smith to get the green light here.

Niner receivers in general tend to catch the ball short of the sticks and try to run it up there. Must be by design. I don't like it
