This is going to be a very tough game, much like the Ravens game I think. Unless we get the red zone scoring problem solved we are opening ourselves up the the home team getting one more "shot play" than us. I think they are going to try to beat us at our own game with a heavy dose of Wells and also test the secondary like the Giants and Ravens did.

AZ will have a chip on their shoulders about being swept and taking down a top ranked 9er team...hope we can rise to the occasion and remind AZ how their season started.

I'm far more concerned about @Seattle than I am about this game. In fact I'm more concerned about Seattle than I am about Pitt.

AZ, SEA, PIT...we are not assured of a 13-3 record, but that is one I would be VERY thankful for...All three of these games will be tough and serious. With the way the offense is playing we might be thankful for a 12-4.

But lets trust that Harbaugh and Co. can "fix it" (3 step process) and the players can rise up.

This game will be closer then what yall might think they have kolb back and the cards played a good game against the cowboys with a overtime win.Are defense still looked good without Willis but i think the cards can score some points on us 49ers 28 cards 20

I think both Rogers and Willis(definitely) are out, so could be close, but hope to see our boys rise to the occasion.

Maybe some Spencer action?

According to FOX's Jimmy Johnson: "Arizona is going to come for Alex Smith today"

Doesn't surprise me. Even Fitz was talking about how they are pissed off about losing so many games in a row to the 49ers. If a guy as mild-mannered as him is talking like that, I'm sure a dirty player like Dockett is trying to get everyone pumped and looking to injure Smith and other offensive players.

honestly always expected a tough gritty game vs the cards, this won't be a pushover but Niners should/must bend them backwards and pretty much :hdn:

Maiocco:

LB Patrick Willis (hamstring) is getting in some light rehab work with Mark Uyeyama, 49ers head strength and conditioning coach.

Patrick Willis is now leaving field after his rehab session. It's pretty clear he's not playing today.

He wouldn't be push to play.... at least he better not... Our defense just needs to step up, next man up thats all.

If we didn't have Bowman, I'd be concerned. Still going to be a tough game- the Cardinals are a better team now than the one we faced in SF a few weeks ago.
