Wow, Wingels is SO bad.. definitely not ready for the NHL... hopefully this is the last game he'll play with the big club for a few months.

Dress 7 defensemen every night and play Burns at forward if you have to.

Id definately be down for that idea. Its not like Burns is good at D anyway...

Wingels is a roster filler, reminds me of McCarthy, Ferriero, etc. They bring nothing to the table, just kind of skating around admiring the pros. No fire, no excitement just boring poooop.

Worcester West is the perfect description for way too many of our forwards. Nicely done. Mitchell, McGinn, and Handzus are the only NHL calibre players I see on the third and fourth lines. McGinn only makes the cut because he'll throw a check, something I don't see often from any other forwards.

Better get some points tonight because here comes a 6 game road trip and they could be 3 and 7 after 10 games and back to where they were last year where they might have to make a big run again in the 2nd half. Let's not get behind the 8 ball early this year...again.

Wingels more boring than John McCarthy? John McCarthy was the NHL's 2010-2011 Masterpiece Theater Award winner as the most boring player in the NHL.

Get this team outta here. Send em on the road and let them think about nothing but hockey. I hate Corey Perry but damn that was a nice shot.

Well, with only Marleau as a legitimately fast skater in the top 6, this team looks slow. Despite additions of White and Burns, our defense still isn't that great and I don't see how our GAA will go down from last year.

We lack depth and we have too many fillers on this team. Nuff said. Too reminiscent of the beginning of last year - slow start, bad defense, going to make a push at the end of the season, and not have enough juice to last through the playoffs.

Yeah, boo them mercilessly. This fucking garbage is inexcusable.

Act like you've played in the NHL before, FFS!

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next several days, so luckily I won't have to watch this team's utter failures scoring the puck and playing defense for once. I actually got to a point, albeit not instantly, that trading away Seto and Heater were improvements, but now, I'm not so sure.

P.S. Does Burns play defense at all?

Burns doesn't know anything about playing D. He's basically a back-checking forward that will bang bodies on the boards.

Burns! I swear this guy is good with the puck on his stick (skating/shooting) but without the puck, he's like a forward playing defense. Oh, right...

Good goal by Burns. Perfect spot for a forward to score. ; )

Douglas Murrray... Is it me or does this guy become more expendable after every game?
