Mota for closer?
Him or Casilla probably.
Mota for closer?
Mota for closer?
9/32 career in save opps. Not that that says much, but I still think it will be Affeldt and his 22 saves.
I like Affeldt, and he's almost always gets the job done. But he scares me.
More than Casilla?
Is his (wife right?) even wearing his jersey number?
Giants Win!!!
Yes. It's somewhat irrational i know. Something about lefty closers.....
Giants Win!!!
Casilla certainly has the stuff. Now that I think about it, they are pretty similar pitchers. Big sinking fastballs, knee-buckling curve and higher than you would like walk totals, though nothing too crazy.
Still think it will be between Romo and Affeldt
Haven't seen Romo's new sinker, but if he just had last year's stuff I'd be against it, i.e. when the slider was on he was unhittable, but when not he was a HR machine.
I agree with you, even with a sinker I'd still rather see a guy with a trusty fastball in the end.
I have full confidence that Bochy will make the right decision. Dude knows a thing or two about bullpens.
run on Posey?? hahaha
maybe the runner got in there.
Oh that vaguely rings a bell
great idea
How about tzill as the starting lefty (for obvious reasons) leading the league in ejections
Tito's the kid knocking on the door.
