I like Waites but he was not doing well in Sacramento. I know Hjelle wasn't doing well in SF but the swap was still puzzling.And Waites immediately adds to the dumpster fire that is the 2023 Giants bullpen. Not to mention the stellar fielding of a much improved defense.
